No shame in getting in through fairl play. It's not just about not tackling hard to avoid cards, (and we tackled hard for the whole season until those last few games where we realised it was on), it's about playing the game in the right way. Sportsmanship instead of gamesmanship.
It's a shame they're doing away with it. Sportinbg Fair play should be encouraged as much as possible.
If we draw Odd and I can't get a ticket, I'll still be there for the piss up and trying to bunk in, if it doesn't kill a load of scousers. May do the same with a ferw other choice locations.
Can't wait for the draw.

I'm with you there Cup of Char.... just can't get worked up about a comp' that we got invited in for being jolly nice tars and not tackling the oppo'... fair do's all going etc for a piss up but in my eyes it's all a bit shit and could come back and seriously bite us on the arse come the run in... that's my own personal thoughts anyway

I don't think I am cool, I just say it as I see it. I don't like the way the game has gone and what it has become and gladly walked away from it when I did. I had many happy seasons with mates going home and away as well as Europe but I have other priorities now and do not even miss it.
West Ham are still my team and I want them to do well but I just don't get worked up about them any more - they lose, so what, they get relegated, so what.
